  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt to taste

For the Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust for heat)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp lime juice

For Assembly:

  • 6–8 small tortillas (corn or flour)
  • Fresh cilantro leaves
  • Lime wedges

1. Prepare the Crabs

  • Rinse and pat dry the soft shell crabs.
  • Season lightly with salt and pepper.

2. Coating

  • In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip each crab into beaten egg, then coat evenly in the flour mixture.

3. Frying

  • Heat oil (medium-high, ~180°C).
  • Fry crabs for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  • Remove and drain on paper towel.

4. Make the Slaw

  • Combine cabbage, carrot, mayonnaise, lime juice, and salt.
  • Mix well and chill slightly.

5. Prepare the Sauce

  • Mix mayonnaise, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.

6. Assemble Tacos

  • Warm tortillas.
  • Place crispy crab on each tortilla.
  • Top with slaw, drizzle sauce, and garnish with cilantro.
  • Serve with lime wedges.
